Phased Array Systems are used in a variety of applications, from 3D imaging to research in drug delivery. Electronics & Innovation, Ltd. offers custom solutions to satisfy your phased array requirements. We have developed several systems for custom applications, from as few as 2 channels, up to 61 channels. Most simply we offer separate channels that can be driven independently by varying the input signal. Dual channels can be employed as modules to provide multiple channels as well as full rack systems.

We are well known in the industry for adapting to our customers' specific application needs.

We are able to design highly custom Phased Array solutions from prototype to production in half the time of the industry standard.

Our Capabilities

  • We've designed systems from as few as 2 channels and up to 61 channels
  • All channels can be gain controlled with a dc voltage to provide for minimal phase variation
    • This is achieved by adjusting the gate bias to the MosFets that form the RF amplification
  • Incorporated gain control of the individual channels
    • One of the problems with using a simple PIN diode to control the power is that there is a large phase change with attenuation of a PIN diode.

10AB24: 24 Channel 10 Watt Power Amplifier System
The 10AB24 is a broadband solid state system, used to amplify the RF level of signal sources in the 500 KHz to 3 MHz frequency range. A quasi linear Class AB design, the 10AB24 is rated at 10 Watts of RF power per channel.

10AB61: 61 Channel 10 Watt Phased Array System
The 10AB61 produces 10 Watts per channel that is controlled by a DC input of 0-10 Volts. The individual channels are phased matched to facilitate operation in phased array systems. The gain control is implemented by the control of the RF MosFet bias through a logrithmic amplifer. Thereby, reducing the phase change with power change.

50AB6: 6 Channel 50 Watt RF System
The 50AB6 is a six channel RF delivery system. Each channel is capable of producing over 50 Watts of RF power. The Power is controled by a DC input of 0-10 Volts.
