The New Quiet A150

The New Quiet E&I A150

The A150 has been redesigned to reduce the acoustic noise and provide some ergonomic improvements. Our first prototype unit was sent to Mr. Shashank R. Sirsi at the University of Colorado to evaluate in his application.

Shashank kindly gave us his input and we are pleased to report it was favorable. Overall he was very satisfied with the product, scoring us "very satisfied" in all categories bar one. The one category that we only achieved "satisfied" in was fan noise! We want "very satisfied" in every category but to go from "very dissatisfied" to "satisfied" is good progress.

We were able to do this without any compromise to our unequalled reliability and robustness. Other improvements include the front panel circuit breaker, (the switch located on the back received a certain amount of negative feedback), improved software facilitating on/off control through the RS232 port, and enhanced digital filtering to the power metering.

It is great to know that our new product was well received. However, equally important to us is that people like to work with us. This is what Shashank had to say on that point:

The only negative feedback reported was the size of the unit:

Thank you very much to Shashank for agreeing to evaluate our product for us.
